Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
First, I need to identify the core issue quickly. For example, I am always late for class.
Secondly, I have to generate testable hypotheses, which is a possible explanation to my problem, such as perhaps I am late because I cannot wake up earlier in the morning.
Thirdly, I should gather and analyze the facts or causes of my problem efficiently. Is it due to laziness or deprivation of sleep?
Then, I need to devise creative and practical solutions for my problem. For instance, I need to force myself to sleep before twelve o'clock so that I can get enough sleep.
Lastly, I will need to syndicate support so that my plans to get rid of my problem will work. Therefore, I might need my roommate's cooperation (such as turning of her music) so that I can sleep well and get up early the next day.
